Technologies' Privacy Policy
Leader Technologies Inc. is in the business of collecting customer product
registration information on behalf of various client customers and
communicating with end user customers through limited and controlled email
services. Some of our more recognizable client customers include Sony,
Epson, Palm, Disney, Adobe, Lexmark, H&R Block and Xerox. Although Leader
Technologies collects customer information on behalf of our customers,
Leader Technologies will never rent or sell our client's customer
information to third parties. Note: Leader Technologies does not control how
our client customers use their customers' information. Please refer to our
individual Client Partner sites for their privacy statements.
Your
Consent
At
Leader Technologies, we believe in permission-based, email marketing.
That's why:
Each registration received within the Leader Technologies OEM
client network provides the customer with the opportunity as to
whether or not they would like to receive future information,
special offers, and communications via email.
Every email served by Leader Technologies on behalf of our client
companies contains an opportunity for the customer to decline
future communications.
Client-specific and network-wide suppression files are maintained
at Leader Technologies to ensure that only those customers interested
in receiving communications do so.
At any time, 24 hours a day and seven days a week, a customer
may contact Leader Technologies customer service at privacymanager@leadertech.com
and request to be removed from future client emails.
How
do we avoid "spam"?
We
require our client companies to use our emails services for communicating
to individuals with whom they already have a relationship. If
additional sources of information are used, companies may only
send email to individuals who have expressly shared their address
for the purpose of receiving offers and information in the future
(Often called opt-in lists).
We encourage our client companies to personalize their communication
with information that indicates they have an existing relationship
with their customer's.
If companies use an external source for communication data, we
require those companies to supply the source of their customer
data to us in the event recipients complain to us about receiving
unsolicited email from us.
We encourage companies to respect their customers' time and attention
by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual email addresses.
How can you stop a company from sending you more email?
Each email sent through our services contains an easy, automated
way for you to cease receiving email from that sender. If you
wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of
any email sent through this system.
